Deleting your account

You delete your Wybiegaj.com account yourself, in the app — no need to write to us. Below: how to do it, what is deleted, what we cannot delete and why.

How to delete your account

  1. In the mobile app, open Settings → Delete account.
  2. In a browser, sign in and open app.wybiegaj.com/settings/delete-account.
  3. Confirm it is you with your password or the account you sign in with (Google, Facebook, Apple), then confirm the deletion once more. You are signed out once it is done.

What is deleted

  • Your account and profile data.
  • Your recorded activities.
  • Your results in event rankings — you drop out of them and the places are recounted without you.
  • The Strava connection, if you have one — we stop reading your workouts.
  • Your saved delivery addresses.
  • Your newsletter subscription.
  • Push notifications on your devices.

What is kept, and why

  • Orders, payments, invoices and shipping details — for 5 years from the end of the year in which the tax on them fell due, or until any claims become time-barred, if that is later. Polish tax law and the Accounting Act require it; they are used only for accounting and possible claims.
  • A record of the documents you accepted and the consents you gave or withdrew — which document, which version and when — without the IP address or browser details. It proves the legal basis the account was run on; we keep it until claims become time-barred.
  • The security log — sign-ins, password changes and the deletion itself, for example, with the IP address — for 12 months from each entry, after which it is deleted automatically.
  • Your event registrations and whether you finished them — tied only to the anonymised account, without your display name or email address. Pack shipping and the event's settlement rely on them.
  • If you were a Patron: the commissions accrued and the payouts made, with the details they were paid to — kept as long as orders, since they are accounting records. Details for further payouts (bank account, address, tax ID) are deleted.
  • Backups — deleted data disappears from them within 14 days at the latest.

No access to your account?

Write to kontakt.wybiegaj@gmail.com from the email address the account was registered with and ask for it to be deleted. The sender address is how we know the request comes from the account holder.

How long it takes

Deleting in the app takes effect at once. We answer a request sent by email and delete the account within 30 days.
